One of several major sources of drinking water throughout the Kathmandu Valley is Shivapuri. A total of 30 million liters of water are taken directly from minor rivers and streams daily, including the Bagmati and the Bishnumati.

Best Season for Shivpuri National Park Hike

Shivapuri has become one of the most well-liked and productive one-day hiking locations in the Kathmandu Valley. Make sure to pick this hiking if you have an additional day in Kathmandu and are eager to go on an outdoor stroll. There is no specific season or month for the hike planning in Shivapuri. We can go hiking in the rain or during the winter if the weather is clear. So, if you are familiar with enjoying playing with the snow, planning your trip for the winter is also an ideal one. Of course, autumn and spring seasons are preferred to the cold and rainy ones for the best views and blooms.

However, according to the overall Kathmandu timing for a hike, we recommend choosing for the spring season due to the Himalayan ranges and hillside exposure due to clear sky and greenery forest conditions.
